Have some automated appointments made onto SQL Server 2000. This is from a
big software production package so cannot be changed.
Need to make these more easily available to the office staff.
Is there any way to sync these with Outlook so any changes in either is
updated?

Thanks Oliver
Wanted to have a go coding myself with VB6 and wondered if any information
anbout the sync process etc.

Dear Kevin,

to sync a PST file with any kind of database like Exchange, SQL or another
PST file is not an "easy" applikation that you can develop in a few hours in
VB6.

For any information about Outlook development have a look on this site:
http://www.outlookcode.com/

You could ask your special questions also in the Forum on this outlookcode
site.

For any part of Outlook development you will also need the "OutlookSpy"
program of Dimitry:

Thanks Oliver

It always me that gets these awkward jobs! - tho can be fun sometimes.
Will have a look at these links, you kindly supplied, and have a poke round
Outlook's internals.
Thought would use VB6 as may be better for older versions of Outlook, or
perhaps may consider VB.NET.
Anyone have ideas if should be done by directly using Outlook or perhaps
using ActiveSync in some sneaky way?

Kevin
