Outlook stopped displaying images in email

For some strange reason, Outlook stopped displaying images in email. I'm
getting the broken image placeholder in email now, all of them old and new.
I haven't made any changes to my system.

Any ideas??
 
Fixed it. I don't use IE anymore, preferring Mozilla Firefox (though
lacking some features). I must have opened IE when not online and had to
hit the "connect" option to view a page. Keep forgetting that Outlook, et
al is dependent on IE.
