Hy guys
I seem to have lost the ability to manually insert signatures in my outlook messages
I have several signatures defined, which I can read, edit… under new message – options – e-mail signature, but I am unable to manually insert any of them in my messages
In the Insert menu I have no Signature line, although I remember that I used to insert signatures in such manner some time ago
I would also like to be able to create a button for this but, again I cannot find Insert Signature when following the regular procedure
Could smb help please?
Many thank
Flor

The behaviour you described is when you have Outlook as e-mail editor. You
now have Word as your e-mail editor. You can change this in Tools->
Options-> tab Mail Format.

In addition to what Roady said, if you want to be able to insert a signature
into a WordMail message manually, you can to create an AutoText entry for
each signature. You can then insert them with the Insert | AutoText command.

Or, create multiple signatures the normal way and make one the default. If
you want to use a different signature for the current message, right-click
the signature that Outlook inserted automatically. From the pop-up menu,
select either the name of the signature you want to use or E-mail Signature
to create a new one.

And to continue the additions...
You can also create an empty (couple of spaces, an ENTER or a simple DOT)
signature as the default signature.

Auto Text is what our customer service is using as well as they also use
standard bodies for answers. When you customize the Toolbar you can create
buttoms and menus as well so you can organise it the way you want it.
