Outlook should warn me I am duplicating a name in the To box.

I am using Outlook 2000 SR-1 and my issue is that I am able to type in
someone's email address more than once into the To box of my Calendar
appointment setup. I am amazed that Outlook does not have a warning that
this is being done so that you can check yourself and make a correction if
needed.

It shouldn't matter if you do, since Outlook should send only a single
message.

Let's take this a set further. A notice went out to invitees who only
received one invitation but, an order of food was placed on the head count of
invitees which was double. If a warning were in place, this would not
happen. I did the food ordering and my employer did the meeting invite.
