Not everyone has or wants a PDA. It would be useful from your home PC to see
what you have for the weeks ahead at work and also have private (family)
appointments synchromised onto your work PC to highlight any conflcts.

This could be in the form of a sync tab to create a connection or to send a
data messgae to each computer to show the most recent calendar modifications.

Work & family life are important and this could be sold in the terms of
striking the right balance between both.

I VERY seriously doubt your employer's IT department would want ANY
connection from a probably virus/spyware infected home computer with its
corporate network.

I know that my employer has a strict policy (fireable offense) about
connecting any non-employer supplied device with the corporate network. And
I hope yours does too.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, DAW asked:

Most copmanies have policies for offsite sycronisation. However, to be able
to sycronise an extensive personal calendar and list of contacts between all
the computers on my HOME network of four computers ,or to have a profile that
resides on a shared folder that could be copied to any one of them (like a
laptop for traveling) would be great.
