(Came through 'Post a suggestion' link on Office website. Although this
discussion group is about calendaring, it seems the closest match to tasks!)
It would be great if you could link tasks in Outlook.
For example, you could enter "Call person A", and then link a task a few
days later with, "Follow up call to person A" if there's no response.
Ideally, you could set up actions for a task's children depending on what
actions are taken to the parent task. For example, if required, a child task
could automatically be marked as complete if its parent task is marked as
complete.
Failing this, just allowing cascaded tasks for display purposes (that are
not otherwise logically or programmatically linked) would be an advantage in
terms of organisation.
