There is no easy way to add the drive time to an appointment in Outlook.
When an appointment begins at 10 am but you have a 30 minumte drive, you need
others in the office to know that they can not schedule an appt. with you at
that time. so to fix the problem as the user what the travel time is.
An example: I have an appt. at 10:00 am in Sacramento, it will take me 35
minutes from my office and another 35 minutes back. I schedule the appt in
outlook from 10 - 11 and the system has a spot for Travel time. I enter 35
minutes and it shows my appt start at 10 am with 35 minutes before that
blocked out. and ending at 11 am with 35 minutes after that blocked out.
