I will like to get some information about the security in outlook
With so many viruses floating around on the internet, it makes me worried to
use outlook for my email.
especially since outlook downloads all my emails.
If I click accidently on a virus email, what is going to happen?

how is outlook better than outlook express?
Which one is better?

This depends on your version of Outlook. Read this KB article to start with
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=257824

When you've updated your Outlook completely you'll notice that some
attachments are blocked e.g. exe, bat, vbs, htm, url, pif, etc. All these
kind of files are known to be virusses as well so they will be blocked. For
further reading on this (and a way to disable this feature) read the
following KB article as well;
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=290497

And what will happen when you click on a virus also depends on your
virusscanner and whether it's up to date. When you leave the default
security in tact it's also hard to have an "accident".

I hope this information was usefull to you!

For differences see here, which is better? depends what you want.

Firstly if you dont have an AV app, with upto date virus definitions it
matters little which email app you use.
A Firewall app is worth having, particularly as you can get a pretty decent
one for free.

Using Win* ; keep yr critical updates current.
No protection - click on a virus mail and who knows; from completely
trashing yr system to mere irritation.
