Outlook Security Update Pains

Since the Office Security Update for Outlook, I get
the "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you
have stored in outlook." I need to disable this. I've
got IHateSpam for Outlook and every time my Outlook
checks mail, it checks it against the IHateSpam
friends/foes list and gives me this message that forces
me out of my other software programs (often mid-slide, or
mid-sentence) and there doesn't seem to be an option to
tell it what programs are okay, or to lower the security
level. Has anyone else run into this problem and have a
workaround, other than uninstalling IHateSpam or the new
Security Update?

I am fustrated with the same message and would also like
to disable it. I use Norton spam program and not sure if
it or outlook gives the message on every emial or reply I
send.

You cannot disable it. Run Norton Live Update.

Sue, thanks for the link to the "solution" to download
the fix from Sunbelt Software. I don't know if it works
yet because what they don't warn you about is if you
install the new update, your old "key" is invalid and you
may not qualify for a free new registration "key". Can
you recommend a good anti-spam third party software that
works GREAT with Outlook? (Not Norton, Not McAfee)

I've used both SpamNet and Inboxer (based on SpamBayes) with good results.
