I have a question in outlook, my main email floder is a
pst file in a normal location on my harddrive. the floder
has a a sharing handshake on it. Can some one with access
(namely the administrator) copy or backup my outlook file,
than restore it to their machine (or better yet see it
live concurrently to my session) and read my email? What
happens if I password protect it? Can the pst file be
opened by two sessions of outlook (either on the same
machine or on another network machine)? Can I track or log
files that are copied from my machine?

Thanks,

1) Can some one with access (namely the administrator) copy or backup my
outlook file, than restore it to their machine (or better yet see it live
concurrently to my session) and read my email?

if someone has access to your personal folders, yes they can access your
mail. No, they can not do it concurrently.

2) What happens if I password protect it?

They need the password to open it. There are password crackers if they
really want to read your mail.

3) Can the pst file be opened by two sessions of outlook (either on the same
machine or on another network machine)?

The PST can only be opened by one Outlook at a time.

4) Can I track or log files that are copied from my machine?

Not using normal Windows utilities. I'm sure you might find something that
can track it, if you search the net.
