Hello

We are having some problem with the outlook security update, that's show the user a warningdialog when a program tries to access Outlook2000
We are making a program that needs to make use of Outlook.
Is there any way to write "safe" code, so that our application can access Outlook, without showing the warning dialog
I already studied the information about the administrative tools that are availabl
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/updates/97_2000/OutSecUpdate.ht

We don't consider this a good option, because some organizations, that will use our app will not have a Microsoft e-mailserver. The admin tools only apply to Outlook <> Exchange Server
Furthermore, you cannot specify that only one program is allow to access Outlook. So, it is still not a safe solution

What can we do

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm for your options with regard to the
"object model guard" security in Outlook 2000 SP2 and later versions. You'll
probably want to consider using the Redemption library.
