Outlook Search

When searching the Inbox with 50,000+ emails we're finding that outlook will
start searching not in the current month like sept, or even july...it's
starting it's search in June, then going to older emails, then finally
getting to sept. and July...
 
I'm not sure if you can control the order of searching since it's probably
based on the arcane way the search indexes are created.

That having been said, you might want to think about storing less items in
the Inbox since a lot of things bog down with the volume of items you
mention
