In Outlook 2000 or 2002 I am not able to get the rule
wizard to apply a rule to messages that come from the
same user more than once..........

I created a Rule which was set up to reply after the
message arrives in my personal account and has the
words "steps for task01" in the subject, using a template
file that is set up with the appropriate information.

This works fine the first time I have someone send an
email to my personal account with the words "steps for
task01" in the subject. It sends the proper reply email
based on the template.

But if I have the same user send another email with the
words "steps for task01" in the subject, the system does
nothing with it.

Any help is much appreciated.

This is by design; it's done that way to prevent the possibility of mail
loops. If your autoreply sends a message to someone else with an
autoreply set up, and your autoreply is allowed to automatically reply
to that person an infinite number of times (and the same on his end),
you can see how quickly that would create a disaster.
