Hi all,

I have a user who has rules set up to sort her email into
folders. However, when someone who she has a rule for
sends her an appointment/meeting request, it doesn't
update in her calendar. Anyone who she doesn't have a rule
for is automatically updated in her calendar when
appointments/meetings are sent. Any ideas??

Make sure that she doesn't have rules that move meeting requests out of the
Inbox to another folder. She can use an exception for a particular form.

Hi Sue,

I was so glad to see that YOU had responded to my post.
I've used your advice before, while searching the
newsgroups for solutions, and greatly respect your know-
how.

I'm new to Exchange and Outlook admin. Could you give me
the details of how I'd check her rules, and how to create
an exception please?

Thanx so much for your help,...with this issue and with
past issues as well.

Jerry Smith (Yes, that is my real name.) lol

You'll have to go to her machine (in person or virtually), fire up her rules
wizard and look. The exception condition you'd want to use, if she's moving
messages, is "uses the <blank> form"
