Can you please add rules for hotmail accounts in Outlook or do I need to code
it myself. It seems crazy that you can move messages between subfolders in
the Hotmail folder manually, but can't set it up automatically.

Outlook rules run on POP3 and Exchange accounts, not http. If you can code a rules wizard that works with http accounts, patent it and sell it!

If you have a Hotmail Premium account and use Outlook Live, I think rules
will work, but otherwise, since rules work automatically only on your
default Inbox and without Outlook Live, Hotmail can't be your default Inbox,
they won't run. It's not because it's Hotmail but because it's not your
default delivery location.
