We are running Microsoft Small business server, Windows 2000 Pro, and
Outlook from Office 2000 Pro.
When we send an external email with various to: address's and CC:
address's (people both within the Domain and external to the Domain)
and someone external to our immediate domain selects "reply all" to
respond to the email there are problems. Emails coming back to our
server/domain bounce.
When the person outside of the Domain replys to the email by selecting
"reply all" Outlook is finding the name of our Server/Local Domain and
not the real email addresses.
Instead of going to (e-mail address removed), it is trying to send email to
(e-mail address removed). Therefore the email bounces back.
Can someone please tell me if I have something set up wrong? Is there
a work around? Why is this happening?
The powers above me are getting a little tense over this problem.
Your assistance is needed.
THanks,
Bev
