I posted the message below earlier today 15.09 and so far no replies, as a
last resort I will have to delete outlook and reistall it, can anyone
explain how I can do this as I cannot see it listed in my add/remove
programs in the control panel, also I have mails in the index and sent
folders that I would like to save but I do not know how.

Thanks in advance

John

I am using Outlook 2000 SP 3 9.0.0.6627 and have been using a free version
of Cloudmark spamnet for a while, I have been asked to subscribe but have
not done so.

Today whilst downloading my e mail, the computer made a noise like it was
trying to restart, the cloudmark icons disappeared and I am now unable to
open the deleted folder or the spam folder, the message I get is "unable to
display the folder", I can send and receive e mails as normal, but cannot
delete them from my inbox, when I try I get the following message "The
messaging interface has returned an unknown error, if the problem persists
restart outlook", I have restarted but this made no difference.

I deleted the cloudmark program using the add/remove in the control panel
and also did a system restore in the hope that it would cure it but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled outlook 2000, my old e mail messages
and the problem are still there.

I thought it might clear everything so I could start again.

John
