Outlook recurrence duration lengths

I am unable to schedule recurrences for more than 2 days.
One of my other calendars allows recurrences (DURATION) to
be set for up to 2 week intervals.

Can I configure the system that only allows duration of 2
days to extend to 2 weeks as the others do? This system
DID have these durations last year when I created this
same schedule.

Outlook 2000 SR-1

Thanks

Please list the steps you're taking to try to schedule the
recurrences -- I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to schedule more
than 2 days since you should get a lot of different options when you go
into the Recurrence dialog box.

I open my calendar, add a new appointment, click the
recurrence tab, make my selections (I want the appointment
to start every Fri at Noon and continue thru noon the
Friday following, every eigth week until Nov 2004). I used
to select duration of 1 week, but now my choice are only
up to 2 days.

So are you using the Weekly duration pattern, or what? I'm trying to
get to the same screen of the dialog box that you're on, so I can try to
reproduce this. Tell me which recurrence pattern you're using and what
you've typed in all the boxes or what is checked and what isn't.

Sorry. Been away.

In the appointment recurrence fields, I enter;
Start: 12:00PM End: 12:30PM DURATION IS THE
PROBLEM>>>I want 1 week.

Recurrence pattern

WEEKLY Recurs every 8 weeks )on_
Friday

Range of Recurrence
Starts September 15, 2003 End after 10 occurrences

NOTE: On my other system, I have a duration length of 1
week as an option and the range of recurrence has a Start
and End choice.

Thanks.

Well, the first thing I noticed is that you originally said you wanted
the start time to be noon on the first Friday and the end time to be
noon on the following Friday, but your most recent reply (just below)
said "End: 12:30PM". While trying to reproduce the issue, I entered
12:30 PM in the End box, but then if I enter 1 week in the duration box,
the End time reverts back to 12:00 PM, which makes sense, and it is also
what you originally said you wanted, too. If you change both Start and
End times to 12:00 noon, do you see the 1 week option again?

If not, what happens if you just type "1 week" into the duration box?
Most of Outlook's time, date, and duration boxes can be typed into
directly...you don't have to rely on the pre-set values in the dropdown
list. I'm not sure why you aren't getting more options past 2 days,
though -- I have the full list from 0 minutes to 2 weeks, but I'm on
Outlook 2002 and I don't have a copy of Outlook 2000 to check against.
