The issue is with reply email and Outlook does not recognise the adress
created. I cannot delete the MTP as it keeps adding it.
What settings do I have wrong as the email set up shows SMTP1.MyISP as the
outgoing server which is right.

Please, reread your post and try to take the view of someone who is not
looking over your shoulder and would like to help. Now, does it make any
sense whatsoever?

Try again, use plain english and tell us at least the version of Outlook you
are using and what error message(s) you are getting.

I'm having the same problem as Berk337: when I reply to an email Outlook adds
the suffix '=SMTP; before the Reply To address. Deleting the address and
re-entering it doesn't help.

I've just imported this Outlook file to a new computer that I'm
experienceing the problem on. I exported the entire Personal Folders file
with all subfolders as .pst files from the old computer.

When I look at individual contact records the email addresses appear
correctly.

Open the Contact record associated with this recipient and douple-click the
e-mail address. What do you see?

A properties dialog box:
Display Name:
Email Address:
Email Type: SMTP (greyed out) <button= "Custom Type">
Internet Format: "Let Outlook decide the best sending format"

I think the problem has resolved itself after several reboots, but I don't
know why.

While it's always frustrating (to me, at any rate) for a problem's cause to
be unexplained and to have it "fix itself", the main thing is that it's
working.
