Outlook Outlook .pst file - location/use?

Hi,

My PC was previously set up by someone else and most of the data was stored on a NAS device, I now need to decouple the NAS from the PC.

Previously the .pst MS Outlook file was on the NAS, I have now copied this to the User section of the PC but need to know how to make MS Outlook use this new location rather than the NAS drive?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Which version of Outlook do you have?

In 2010, I just need to go to the "account settings" panel (listed under File in this version, but probably under another menu in previous versions). Then, click the "data files" tab to change the PST file storage location.

Will it be different from Outlook 10?

Yep, Outlook 2007 will be a different process - I found this article on the MS website which details how to change it:
