Any advise on the following would be appreciated:

On my laptop I have Outlook 2003 and on my pc Outlook 2002.

When I try to export the Inbox messages to a pst file, on the laptop, and
inport that file to the Inbox on the pc I get the message 'The file is not
compatable with this version of the persona; folders information service'.

What is causing this problem and how can it be overcome?

TIA

Tom

Firstly, don't use the Export function for moving data from one outlook to
another.

On the laptop - in Outlook, go to File-New-Outlook data file and make sure
you create one in the Outlook 97-2002 format. Then copy your Inbox mails to
that pst file. Close Outlook, Copy the new pst file to your desktop. On the
desktop, in Outlook go to File-Open-Outlook data file and navigate to where
you copied it to.

Many thanks

Will try your suggestions
