What MAPI Can Do That Outlook Can't

"Adding tabs to the Tools | Options and folder Properties dialogs in
Outlook 97 and 98"

I have found code from MS that does just that...

My question is, can I extend the "Address Book" property page (_Not read
as Contacts Form_) that
Outlook uses to display contact information?

I already have an Add-in Framework that I wil use to add the property
page (which works for items
such as the inbox, sent items, drafts, etc, as well as Tools Options).

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance...

No. Address book providers (such as GAL, OAB, etc) are responsible for the
property pages.

Would you maybe be able to offer an alternative approach to displaying
custom information
about an address... They're interested in getting data from their AD
and making it available to
their users [.... somehow...] but hopefully integrated into Outlook. (if
not then I'll just
have to write a standalone app or an addin that is not 'so tightly
integrated' as I could have
hoped for...

If this is not just AD but Exchange, you can modify the details template on
the Exchange server to show different data.

(Knowing not a thing of which you speak...) Is there a KB or some other
article or site explaining the
process, detailing the spec for the templates or any other juicy tidbits
you can offer?

Thanks,

D.
