DEBBIE

I AM AT A TOTAL LOSS HERE AND I PRAY SOMEONE WILL HELP
ME! FOR THE PAST YEAR OR SO I HAVE REALLY BEEN GETTING
INTO COMPUTERS AND I SEE OUTLOOK AND WANT TO USE IT BUT,
THE PROBLEM IS THIS, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT! MY
MAIN PROBLEM IS I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LINGO(words)THEY
USE. IF SOMEONE WOULD BE SO KIND AS TO SEND ME STEP BY
STEP INSTRUCTIONS w/ SIMPLE DEF.,I WOULD BE EVER SO
GREATFUL! NOW I KNOW SOME OF YOU ARE PROBABLY
THINKING "WOW, WHAT A DING!" BUT, I'M NOT REALLY, I'M
JUST AT A LOSS. ALSO, WHEN I DO RECEIVE E-MAILS FROM
SOMEONE (mainly my mother-in-law),ALL I GET ARE RED x's
UP IN THE CORNER. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING, ESPECIALLY
WHEN SHE WANTS A RESPONSE OR COMMENT. WHY IS THIS
HAPPENING, IS IT BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE OUTLOOK? AND, NO, I
DON'T DARE ASK HER FOR HELP(for those of you who are
wondering).
MY SINCERE THANKS,
DEBBIE

Firstly turn caps off, is considered shouting and makes post hard to read.
Outlook and Outlook Express are two entirely different Apps.
OL can be purchased on its own, but is usually supplied as part of the MS
Office Suite
OE is installed, by default in a Win* sys, and will be updated with updates
to Internet Explorer.
For help on OE see here http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/
or an OE newsgroup, you have posted to an OL ng
You can also use the OE newsreader, for groups, makes life easier
