Frequently I send out large attachments to "Action" or "To" addressees, where
the requestor requires only a notification that this has been sent.

My suggestion is that Outlook should provide an option whereby you can chose
which attachments should be sent to which addressees, through either a bulk
selection critiera of the "To" and "Cc" and Bcc" listed addressees or by
specifying individuals who should be included/excluded from recieving
specified attachments.

This would certainly cut down on the (larger) technical documents that some
business managers just do not need filling up their Inbox!

Does anyone else have an opinion on my suggestion? I do not believe the
functionality is currently available but I would like your thoughts on how it
might be achieved as an interim measure. Aside, that is, from drafting
multiple versions of the email for seperate distribution.

Thanks,

Tony
