Environment: Windows XP w/ Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2003
Issue: Multiple users in an office are having an issue with Outlook and
Notes. They can open a note and close it properly. When they go to close
outlook or switch to another application, they get the following error and
Outlook closes.
"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not
valid."
then
"The note will close and your changes will not be saved."
What I've tried on advice from forums:
1. I have tried removing all the com addins and other add ins from the
manager in outlook
2. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;842942
3. and even though im not having a task problem, i tried "Login to OWA as
the user having the issue, go to tasks and create a new task. Save the task
(should work ok) then go back to the users Outlook -tasks and then from the
Actions menu choose "Save Task Order". Create a new task and then save it.
Restart Outlook."
Any help is much appreciated.
