Hello

I have an XP machine with office 2000. My user logged off domain and rejoined later and lost their profile. We restored to a point before the logging off of domain and everything was fine....it worked for a week but something happened and the machine was restored to another previous point and now when we click the outlook icon it says "outlook cannot be started". When I click the start button, the area where the programs and stuff are, it's blank. How can I restore outlook? I tried to reinstall office but it won't install. Can the data be retrieved? Thanks for the help

Why didn't you just create a new Outlook Profile?
System restore points are a poor solution for such a specific problem.
There's no telling what kind of setup you have now.
