outlook not responding

When I close (X) outlook the display screen closes and disappears, but the outlook icon remains at my bottom right hand corner and keeps running. When I click on this icon however it refuses to open outlook. When I go to the start menu and try to open outlook, it will not respond either. I end up having to restart to be able to open the outlook again. What the heck is going on buddies?

You have amother progam (ActiveSync, some anti-virus, Winfax, and others)
that is keeping the Outlook executable running. Find that program and it
will properly quit.
