Outlook not excepting my email address

I have used Outlook for over a year now but recently wiped my hard drive so I
had to set up my outlook again. For some reason it won't accept my
mindspring.com address that I've had forever, and worked on my last Outlook,
I have tried everything I could find online but still haven't gotten anything
to work. Any help would be great, Thank you

You first: what version of Outlook? What type of account? What does "won't
accpt" mean? State EXACTLY what you're doing and EXACTLY what happens at
each point as you do it.
