I just installed Windows Small Business Server 2003 for a client. I had
originally configured the server's POP3 Connector to download the mail from
the server. However this was causing all sorts of bad things to happen.
Yesterday I removed the POP Connector and set up Outlook with a POP/SMTP
Account, specifically telling it to delete messages from the server.
The client who receives a large amount of spam as well as legitimate e-mail
had 430 e-mails on the server, which his Outlook seems to be downloading
every time he Sends/Receives. It is obviously not deleting the messages from
the server.
Any suggestions?
