in todays environment where tech workers are treated as a commodity MS should
enable a simple transfer of the contacts database from one computer to
another. Your users get laid off, those contacts, some personal some
business, mean alot. Make it easy...real easy- Please. I am not computer
illiterate, by any measure, and I can't figure out how to keep my contacts.
Is this a sign that MS products are really that employer centered? Should we
the workforce look to a more prolotariate open source solution? There is
very little differentiation between MS and a linux plaform for common office
use, I personally will look into using a linux platform for just this reason.
Ease of transfer.

You need to either copy the PST file or if you are working for a company who
doesn't give you permission to access the PST file directory then create
your own PST file and copy the data accross. I had the same problem until I
learnt how from people on this group.

File > New > Personnal Folders File (PST)

Hope that helps,

John
