How do I remove messenger or set it so that it doesn't open when outlook is
opened? Or how do I remove MSN Messenger completely?

Disable Person Name Smart Tags at the bottom of Tools>Options>Other to
disconnect it from Outlook. Go into Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs
and remove MSN Messenger to uninstall completely. You'll still have Windows
Messenger, though, and it's a clone of MSN Messenger. Remove Windows
Messenger at Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows
Components. It should be the last one in the list.
