Does anyone know where outlook messages are stored if a
personal folders file is not set up? We have a user who
was having problems with Outlook. My supervisor suggested
removing all services and then re-installing. The user
did not have personal folders before, but when I set it up
I added personal folders. When I restarted Outlook, lots
of mail came in, but apparently not all of his current
mail, just old stuff. I don't know where the mail was
being stored originally, so I can't import into his new
setup. He has Outlook 2000, SR-1, on a pc with Windows 98
SE, and on an NT network.
Thanks for any help.

What kind of mail service is he running? Exchange, POP3, IMAP, HTTP, other?

.

Well the mail that came in is probably from the Exchange server then. These
are saved in the database on the server.
