In Outlook 2000 you can have the mail notification ICon
appear on your taskbar by the clock. Usually its there by
default when you load Outlook 2000, but its gone and I
can't seem to find anywhere on how to have is reappear on
my taskbar. Any help would be great!

Thanks

I don't see it as an option, so I think you need to run detect and repair
from the help menu in Outlook. It usually takes my machine 15 minutes or so,
and usually requires the CD.

You mean when new mail arrives to display an envelope icon?

Tools, Options, Email Options, check "Display a notification message when
new mail arrives". If you also want a sound that's in the Advanced Email
Options dialog.

If you mean the Outlook icon in the System Tray that's not available in
Outlook 2000.

Thanks I was wondering if it had it in Outlook 2000, I knew it was in XP and
03 versions. I did mean the envelope icon also.

Thanks Ken!
