Outlook mail merge

How can I send an email to multiple contacts and merge each name into the
opening of the message? How can I have each recipient have just their name
in the TO field? I thought I used to do this with an Outlook merge but now I
cannot figure it out in Office 2007.

Same method: Select contacts in your contacts folder in Outlook, then choose Tools | Mail Merge.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I still haven't gotten it. I am sure
its so obvious and staring me in the face - but I can't get. Could you/would
you give step by step directions - I need directions using Outlook 2007.

Thank you.

1. Display the folder containing the contacts you want to merge.
2. Select the contacts you want to merge (if it's fewer than the full contents)
3. Choose Tools | Mail Merge.
4. At the bottom of the dialog, choose Merge To > E-mail. Select other options as you choose.
5. Click OK to begin the merge.
6. Insert fields, etc. as usual in Word.
