It is not in the GO - CUSTOMIZE alternatives. I tried moving it to the GO Icon and now its just gone.

How can I get it back to the CUSTOMIZE alternatives?

I've even tried reinstalling outlook which doesn't work either.

Thank you.

OK It came back.

I don't know where it went or why

Assuming you're using Outlook 2003, this is a known issue when you choose
Outlook as your default newsreader in Control Panel | Internet Options |
Programs tab, and/or you allow Outlook Express to make itself the default
newsreader when you open it and the dialog box pops up. If you make OE the
default newsreader in Internet Options, but choose "No" when OE asks if it
should be the default, you should have no trouble with the News command
disappearing. (You may have to restart Outlook for the changes to take
effect.)
