I'm having problem with my Personal Contacts locking up
when I get to the C's and then it closes Outlook. Our
regular Outlook Contacts for the network works OK, just
the persoanl contacts. I'm running Outlook 2000 with sp3.
I have removed the Personal contacts and brought them
back, still same problem. Any suggestions??

It is local. Now, even if you click on contacts, Outlook
locks up. If you click on the contacts on the server, it
works with no problem. It's the personal contacts that are
saved on the PC that is causing the problem.

You mean you are using a PST while running against Exchange Server? That's
not a recommended configuration.

The network contacts (pst) is on the exchange server. Her
private contacts are on her PC. Network contacts are
working without any problems. Her private contacts on the
PC is the one that she is having problems with. She's the
only one with this problem, everyone else (over 500 users)
are working with no problems.

You've lost me. An Exchange mailbox is not a PST file. Does she also have a
PST file in the same Outlook profile that connects to her Exchange mailbox?

How about just letting me know how to fix the problem if
either it is on the PC or on the server and I'll go from
there. Thanks.

Because there is no way even to know what the problem might be without
knowing what sort of information store you are using.
