outlook journal in exchange environment

is there a way to set the journal flag to contacts that
reside in a public contact folder on an exhange network -
when i go to Tools - Options - Journal Options - only
those contacts in the private local folder shows up

thanks - do you know if the new 2003 or the MS CRM
addresses this shortcoming - i know of so many companies
trying desperately to replace other Client Contact apps
with Outlook....

MS CRM does provide some automatic mail tracking ability when used with Exchange, but the Outlook integration is not the centerpiece of the application, so you'll want to look at it closely to see if it fits the bill.
