I have created a template to send information to a company. Some of the
recipients are blackberry users. How can I ensure they recieve the
mails? Not seeing the colours and images is no problem I just need to
convey the information included within the template.

What information? Only Outlook can read information in Outlook custom forms. Other mailers will see only the email body.

Aloha jaytee,

As Sue pointed out that BB should receive any messages you send with content
contained in the e-mail body. If you're using custom fields or something
that's a different matter.

Hi Ben and Sue

Sorry for taking so long to get back, been off for a couple of days. So
if I have a template that I have created and saved as an Outlook Item
Template with a number of labels and text boxes will the BB user be
able to see what is inputed into the form. I have put a name field and
address field and a customer reference number.

Regards

James

No. As I think we already said, the BB user can see only the standard fields that an email message shows.

when you say standard fields do you mean what I see when I open a
standard mail message to write a new one i.e To, CC and Subject and the
message box?

If I put 3 text boxes on a template for my user to fill in would the
contents that have been filled in be received by the BB users?

Yes, exactly.

No. For the third time: Non-Outlook mail recipients will see only the email body. What part of this do you not understand? Any data you want the Blackberry users to see needs to be in the message body or subject.

No. The BB user will ONLY see the standard Outlook fields - i.e Body, To,
etc. They will NOT see any of your custom labels or text boxes.

Sorry for being thick,

So is there any way to get what I put into a template to be transfered
into an email that will be readable by the blackberry user.

You would have to use not an .oft form template file, but a published custom form that has an Item_Send event handler to create a new message and populate it with the desired information.
