I have encountered a problem to which I can not find the
solution, so here it is:
After making a perfect working base installation and
running sysprep. An image of the installation is made
through Symantec Ghost. Under normal conditions this image
was distributable and adaptable to several type of
machines.
For no apparent reason this way of working has seized to
work, after deploying the image to any machine everything
works fine except for Outlook 2000 Pro.
The only message produced is "The adressbook is unable to
contact the exchange server".
If we try to work around it and want to configure through
control panel, the same problem appears, aside from the
fact that the postbox cannot be contacted because the
exchange server can not be found.
The machine is member of the W2K native domain, the
exchangeserver is W2K and Exchange 2000 both running SP3
as are all the clients.
I am desperatly open for all your thougts and solutions.
Kind Regards,
Do.
