Ok, here is the scenerio. A user created a .PST file named DELETED ITEMS. He
tried putting some emails from his inbox, to that PST file. It started taking
an extremely long about of time. Before he created this pst file, everything
worked fine. He is running office 2003.
Since then, we deleted the DELETED ITEMS PST file, and now, even when he
tries to delete something from his normal deleted items folder, it can take
up to a minute to complete. Also, during this time, he will get a popup
saying that OUTLOOK IS TRYING TO ESTABLISH A CONNECTION TO THE EXCHANGE
SERVER.
If I go to the exchange server and try to delete messages from there, it
also takes a very long time to do. this has just started happening ever since
he created that pst file.
Any suggestions???
