Outlook is no longer allowing me to sort contacts by category?

I cannot sort my contacts by category? This problem arrised after I synced my
laptop with my palm zire 31? Does anyone know how to fix this?
 
Fix what?
We have no idea what view or version you are referring to, now how you are
trying to sort.
