I recently purchased an HP PC/Windows XP Home Edition
Version 2002 with Office 2003 installed on a 60 day
trial. I set up Outlook Express and it was and still is
working.
I had an opportunity through my employer to get MS Office
XP Professional 2002. I removed the trial copy of Office
and installed Office XP. The install appeared to go okay.
But, when I try to start up Outlook I get the following
messages:
'Unable to open your default email folders' followed by
'Would you like to open your default File System folder
instead?'
It seems as though something went wrong during the
install of Outlook 2002.
If I can get Outlook 2002 running I would like to migrate
my Outlook Express folders to Outlook and use Outlook for
email.
Also, when trying to export my Outlook Express messages I
get the following message:
'Your default MAPI store could not be opened'
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards
