My Outlook application goes slow/seizes up whenever I open
it (I'm on broadband), although it has been working fine
until now. The problem seemed to start after installing
Norton Systemworks. An error messsage tells me to go
to "Inbox Repair Tools" but neither My Computer, nor
Programs, nor Outlook or Word Help has an entry. Tried
Microsoft online Help, which also drew a blank. My
manual "Outlook 2000" by Kelly doesn't index it either.
Anyone got any ideas where I go from here (apart from
uninstalling Outlook and then re-installing it)???

NB: I have no trouble connecting to the 'net, so it's not
the connection, the line or the router.

The Inbox Repair Tool is a file named scanpst.exe and it should be on your
hard drive somewhere -- just do a Windows search for that filename. Run
that file against your .PST file and see if it finds any errors.
