Why does Outlook 2003 hang so much when accessing MSN or
Hotmail accounts. I am not lacking any resources
Dual Processor server and 3 GB ram with 3.0 downstream and
512 up. I run 6 sites so why the hang please.
Also why does OE not delete the messages off of the server
as Outlook does? >>> (MSN and Hotmail) IMAP is fine
Very Puzzling
Thank you

Typically, Outlook accesses Hotmail via an HTTP account. HTTP account don't
delete messages from the server. All messages stay on the server until you
delete them. That's the way HTTP account work, bit in Outlook and Outlook
Express. If you see something different, then you've comfigured the
programs differently.

Ok I can delete the HTTP with Outlook but not with OE. BUT
I did find out something very interesting. If you create a
folder in OE named "trash can" and then synch the account
you can move the mail to this folder and delete them. I am
now in the process of trying to figure out how to get them
to go there first.
Somebody stop me! ")
