Does anybody know how to obtain "a new row" while writing a message
under Microsoft Outlook

I got
To:
CC:
BCC:

But I would love also to have From: as I got 3 email accounts
configured in my outlook. Every email is sent out from "default" email
account – I wish to have a choice from which email account I send out
an email
Thanx

Marcin

You can easily add the From field to your view, but it won't do what you
want. That does not control the sending account.
As with all questions, the answer requires that you post your Outlook
version. You did not.

Whoopppppps! Disregard my previous post to this thread...wrong place for
it!

It is Mictrosoft Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.3011).
Well If I got three email accounts set up with Microsoft Exchange I
could easily pick the account from "From" row and the email was sent
thru the required SMTP. Now all I can do is set up a default account
...well this is not I am looking for actually .. anyone could help me
with this ?
thanx

That's all Outlook has ever done in Corp/Workgroup mode. The From field does
not control the sending account. The order in which the transports are
listed in Tools > Services controls the sending account, unless Exchange is
in the profile. When Exchange is in the profile then it is the transport
that is used.

I have multiple accounts in my OL2003. To do what I do believe you are asking is when you go to send a new email (or respond) I click on the 'accounts' link above in toolbar and all of my accounts are listed there and I choose the one I want to send from. It works (even though it does not appear in the 'from' field for you. It DOES however, appear in the gray bar above the email 'This message will be sent via (email@______)'

Well of course. This capability was added in Outlook 2002. The question was
about Outlook 2000.
