You'll have to ask the web master of the site you're posting through. I
see you're posting through http://www.ExcelForum.com, with which I'm not
familiar.

When you post through ExcelForum, you are actually posting to a Usenet
newsgroup. This is a very inefficient way of posting because your messages
take a long time to reach the server, and apparently our replies take a long
time to get back to you. You can post directly to the Microsoft server that
hosts these newsgroups; for instructions on setting up Outlook Express to
access the many hundreds of Microsoft NGs, see
http://www.insideoutlookexpress.com/resources/communities.htm.

If for some reason you must post through a Web portal (for example, if you
are on a corporate network that does not permit access to Usenet), try
Microsoft's own Web portals, which are more efficient than ExcelForum. Start
here: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx

Use an alternate methods for access the newsgroups rather than a site
that is slurping the public newsgroups and making them appear as
though they are their forums..

Plus you'll find you see new posts immediately. If I'm not mistaken
the site you are currently using has quite a delay in updating new
posts. I tested it once and it took almost 24 hours to see a reply.

Use Outlook Express or an alternate newsreader. Use this link to
connect you to the Microsoft news server. From there you can use the
Newsgroups command to subscribe to specific newsgroups:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/

If you need to use web access then use the web interface on
Microsoft.com to access the newsgroups:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?d=1

Use Google Groups (note new posts take a couple hours to update):
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&group=microsoft.public.outlook

Hi Danison,

If the corporate interface only allows you to go over a website, try
microsoft.com. They've put in a new interface that's apparently working
(we're seeing lots of questions from it, anyway) and that should also
give you access to Outlook groups.
