Ah... plain text can't be formatted, only HTML or RTF. to change how you see
them, tools, options, mail format, fonts and change the plain text font.

I am not sure what you are asking. I am using plain text
as the Format Type. And this happens if I reply or create
a new message.

I recently installed Outlook XP(2002) and when I try to
create a new message or reply to another one, I cannot
change the formatting of the fonts. The toolbar show as
gray. I tried to uncheck it and re-check it, but this
does nothing. I tried a repair and still no change.
