One of my co-workers designed a form in Outlook and emailed it to me. He said
I should have a message tab and the form tab when I doulble click on his
message. I do not get any tabs in Outlook 2003 when I open his message. Is
there a setting I need to change in order to get these tabs when I open the
message?

What exactly did he send you -- a message created from his custom form or a file attachment containing the form? Your Outlook build number from Help | About Microsoft Outlook might also be helpful.

He sent me an email there are supposed to be two tabs at the top, one for the
message and one labeled farm request when I double click on the message. The
message tab would have a message and the farm request tab is supposed to be
the form he created He showed me in his email, but when I get the message
there are no tabs at the top. He is using Outlook 2003 as I am, but I have
the Business Manager version. Would that interfere with the tabs?

He needs to resend after doing two things:

1) Checking the box on the (Properties) page for the form, in design mode, marked "Send form definition with item"

2) Double-click your address and mark it for rich-text format.

Sue, Please Help!

Sue,

I'm sorry to butt in on someone else's thread but I've noticed that you seem to be the person with all the answers! Would you please take a look at my thread "Task or Task Request?!" - I've been trying to find the solution myself through various forums and through trial and error but I haven't been able to get it right yet.

Your advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks,

Phil_at_work
