I recently upgraded from a prior version of Outlook (either 2000 or 2002, I
can't recall) to 2003. New Contacts I create use a nice new form to display
the individual contact information, but prior contacts use the old-style
form. How can I get all contacts to use the same form?

Thanks,
Tony

Maybe you set the older items to use a custom form? (and maybe for a specific reason?) Add the Message Class field to any folder view and compare the values for old and new items.

No, I am not smart enough to set the other items to use a custom form. I
can only just barely follow what you recommended.

In any case, are you able to describe how I can set all contact forms to use
the default Outlook form?

Thanks!
Tony

YOu mean all contact **items** (not forms) to use the custom form (not the built-in default form), right? You need to change the MessageClass on the existing items to point to your new form's class. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm#convert for several tools and scripts to accomplish this.
