Outlook folders help

Hi all,

I I'm looking for a way to sort emails in to folders automatically
without having to create the folder by hand.

I recieve emails that start with a string "#23423 london" or #34890
Spain" and would like these to go to a folder that begins with that
string "#?????." I have about 300 unique strings and are added at the
rate of several a week.

Rules will do what you want, provided you precreate the folders. Outlook by
itself (no additional custom coding) can't create folders automatically
based on incoming messages.

I assumed as much from my searches. Rather hoping I was incorrect.

Is this something I could write a macro to accomplish? (outlook 2003)
